Sanita Krīgere takes the position of Manager of the shopping and entertainment center AKROPOLE Alfa

Sanita Krīgere, who has 20 years of experience in retail and real estate management, has been appointed as the new Manager of the shopping and entertainment centre AKROPOLE Alfa.

"We believe that the Manager of the shopping centre must be brave for challenges, have a broad vision and be able to change with the times in order to satisfy the wishes and needs of the customers, as well as to help maintain the competitiveness of the centre. The shopping centre AKROPOLE Alfa is a versatile and development-oriented object that requires a lot of professional investment. That is why we are very happy to welcome Sanita to our team – she has rich experience and a compelling vision for the development of the industry. We wish the new Manager success and look forward to seeing what AKROPOLE Alfa has in store for the future," says Rasa Kundušiene, Head of Property Management of Akropolis Group.

"Managing shopping centres is a very exciting and dynamic process, so I gladly accepted this professional challenge. By starting work in the new position, I will have a great opportunity to apply my long-term experience in achieving the goals set by AKROPOLE Alfa, and it is also an important step in my professional development. AKROPOLE Alfa is an important destination for residents and guests of Latvia, so I believe it is essential to continue what has been started – to maintain the centre’s potential, develop and strengthen a favourable environment for families with children, and provide the best shopping experience for every visitor," says Sanita Krīgere, Manager of AKROPOLE Alfa.

Sanita Krīgere’s experience in retail began in 2004, working in the "MOS" store network and developing such popular fashion brands as "Parfois", "Karen Millen", "Oasis", "Mango", "Promod" and "Esprit" in the Latvian market. In 2015, S. Krīgere gained experience in real estate management and leasing of commercial premises by joining the "CBRE Baltics" team and becoming the manager of the "Galleria Riga" shopping centre. Later, she worked in the “Riga Plaza” shopping centre and oversaw development and leasing questions. Before joining the AKROPOLE Alfa team, she worked as a manager of “Galerija Centrs” shopping centre.

Sanita Krīgere has obtained a business management degree in entrepreneurship at Turība University.
